Start time 12:45 LATEST |
The membership of the Club has been capped and we are currently not taking new members. We have limited space and only 12 Arcscorer tablets, so 48 is the maximum number of players we can accommodate.
The following process will apply should more than 48 people turn up and wish to play:
- Before 12:45, Members first.
- 12:45 is the cut off point. Last in/First out if there is not enough space.
- Visitors only if space allows at 12:45 and if they have played less than the 3 tournaments permitted in one year (April to March). This includes visitors accompanying a member.
- Members arriving after 12:45 can only play if space permits.
It is hoped that following this process will avoid embarrassment and confusion.

Duplicate Bridge |
- Duplicate Bridge is played on Wednesday afternoons at 1:00pm, but please arrive by 12:45 latest to allow time for the tournament to be set up.
- A Matchpoint tournament takes place on the 1st Wednesday of every month (unless otherwise stated). Aggregate is played at other tournaments.
- Table money is £3.00 except for SBU or Charity events when the table money is £5.
- We have a stand-by system so you do not need to bring a partner. Members are expected to participate in the Standby Rota.
- We welcome visitors if space permits. If the tournament is oversubscribed, priority will be given to current members. Visitors can attend on up to 3 occasions in a year before being required to apply for membership.
- Our club room is on the ground floor of the Sports Pavilion so access is easy.
- We also have excellent off-street parking.
As members of the Scottish Bridge Union, we run national and club competitions.
