Online 9-High & Jack High Events |
The EBU is supporting counties in running a programme of national online events that are exclusively for players with NGS grades up to 9 or Jack.
Each event is operated by a county organisation supported by the EBU. Although the events are run by counties, they are open to anyone in the country who is qualified via their NGS grade. Jack-high events are for players with a rank of Jack or lower; 9-high events are for players with a rank of 9 or lower.
Play a national competition in the company of people in your own range, to earn Blue Points and advance your masterpoint rank. The entry fees are affordable, and the events include Swiss Pairs as well as standard match point pairs.
The Jack High events run by Cumbria will be held on RealBridge. There will be two sessions of 20 boards per session. You are welcome to play in one or both sessions. The first session will start at 11am, and the afternoon session starts at 2.30pm.
The 9-High events run by the Midland Counties will be held on RealBridge. Depending on the exact number of entries, 24 or 25 boards will be played, starting at 2pm.
The 9-High events run by Kent will be held on BBO. There will be 2 sessions of 18 boards. You are welcome to play in one or both sessions. The first session will start at 11am, and the afternoon session starts at 2.30pm. There will be masterpoints and prizes for those who do well in each session as well as overall awards across both sessions.
