After the auction period has ended, if no player has bid, the hands are returned to the board without play. There should not be a redeal. It should be noted that redealing is unfair to players who open light or play very weak no-trump openings or like to make judgements whether to open fourth-in-hand.

Redealing also gives unauthorised information to other tables.
