CLUB NEWS - (YCBA) LEAGUE MATCHES 2024 - 2025
CLUB NEWS - (YCBA) LEAGUE MATCHES 2024 - 2025

The 2024 / 2025 season, which started in October, has now concluded. There were seven divisions this year in total.

The results of the last fixtures for the 2024 / 2025 season are as follows :-

  • Wakefield A - won away at Keighley B in Division 3, - 18 - 2. They finished 2nd in their division with four wins & three losses & are promoted to Division 2.
  • Wakefield B - lost at home to Ripon in Division 4, - 2 - 18. They finished 4th= in their division with four wins & three losses.
  • Wakefield C - drew at home to Huddersfield C in Division 6, - 10 - 10. They finished 5th in their division with three wins & three losses & one draw.

If you require more information regarding the YCBA leagues, please look under "INFORMATION" and then "Links to Bridge Organisations". Then select "Yorkshire Contract Bridge Association" and then find "Leagues" in their menu. As the season progresses, the league tables for every division, which will be updated on their web-site.

If you have any wish or have an aspiration to take part & represent your Club in the upcoming season 2025/2026, which starts in October - please talk to any member of the Committee. A big thank you goes to all the members of our Club, who have generously given of their time, in baking cakes or by simply helping in the background, to make sure that the home fixtures operated so smoothly.   

All playing members of each team, should remember that, if you are fortunate enough to be playing at HOME, then you will be asked to contribute £7.50 towards the refreshments.
