Game Information
|
The Ellsworth Duplicate Bridge Club runs an open, non-stratified game.
Partners are not provided at the game. If you need a partner, please contact the Club Manager prior to the game so one can be arranged.
Every effort is made to have a game which awards higher masterpoints (other than Club Masterpoints). During the summer, the maximum number of NAP games, charity games, club championships, enhanced club championships and anything else that is available are held.
Entry fee is $5.00 except for the Longest Day game when the entry fee will be $10.00 plus what other donation a player would like to make. The Longest Day game will be held on Wednesday, 06/23/21.

Special Instructions

Covid-19 protocols.
Upon participating in your first game, please furnish a certificate that you have been fully vaccinated. (I hesitated regarding this requirement and relying on the honor system but other Maine clubs are requiring this). For all subsequent games, you need not show any proof of vaccination. There will be no waiver of this requirement. Not being vaccinated or not showing proof will not allow you to play.
Masks: not mandatory.
Bidding boxes: sanitized before the game and you will take your assigned bidding box with you.
There will be sanitizers at each table or at the sign-up table. Please sanitize your hands after each round.
Boards: not sure what to do with them.
Food: initially there will be no food or beverage. There will be bottled water. Coffee and tea may be added later but I am simply following other club’s protocols.
NOW: I am taking reservations so please email me your reservation requests.
Any thoughts, questions, omissions that I may have made: let me know: mepda@myfairpoint.net or (207) 461-8934.
FINALLY: Please be prepared to chip in. Tables will need to be moved from the library to the Neighborhood House and stored and chairs put away. Please don’t play and run away. Help.
