We have designed the course structure such that you can follow two consecutive paths - see below

2a. Players who have never played online before and need 'hand-holding' to play on BridgeClubLive (BCL)

Having attended our 'Returners - the next Step' workshop and decided to join our group then this is what will happen next:

Pam will contact you individually within 5-7 days and set up a 14-day free trial for you on BridgeClubLive.

At the same time she will check your availability and encourage you to play Socially with other u3a members.

You will be introduced to other u3a members who play similar conventions to you and supported at the Social BCL online Bridge table on Thursday evenings.

Once you have registered and are happy to continue playing on BCL, then please email 'u3areturnersbridge@hotmail.com' requesting your 3-month free trial quoting:

Student's BCL MemberID

Student's First Name

Student's Last Name

Student's email address

Your future playing sessions on BCL can be a choice of Social Bridge or Club Duplicate Bridge (or both) depending upon your preference.

In either case we continue to 'hand-hold' you at the table until you are sufficiently comfortable to progress to our regular Friendly Duplicate sessions, if you wish.

There is also an option to attend Supervised Practice Sessions on Monday mornings at 9 o/c.

We have set-up a WhatsApp group for u3a Bridge Returners - please fill-in this form if you wish to join.

2b. Players who need 'hand-holding' or 'sign-posting' to a (self-guided) Improvers course on NoFearBridge (NFB).

After you have played a few games on BCL you will 'know what you don't know' and we can help guide you to suitable lessons on NoFearBridge (NFB). We do not offer any direct teaching on the Nofearbridge platform but we do offer advice and 'hand-holding' as to how to get the best out of your Nofearbridge membership.

We will automatically email you a couple of weeks after you've applied for your 3-month free membership of BCL and send you your 3-month free membership for Nofearbridge (NFB).
