Bridge Classes at U3A Modbury |
Currently there are two bridge classes at U3A Modbury., 2024 classes will commence on Tuesday January 30th. All are held in room 7. Attendees should be vaccinated against Covid - unless they hold a valid medical exemption. Questions should be directed to the Group Leader.
The Beginners Class commences at 12.30 pm. A tutorial is followed by a duplicate pairs session. If you have any friends who are interested in learning the game of bridge, they may like to attend. Absolute beginners are welcome, although progress and enjoyment will be greater if they have at some time played a trick-taking card game such as Whist, 500 or Euchre. All may come without a bridge partner. For further details contact Ross Frick (8263 7439, 0458 801 053 or rfrick@bigpond.net.au).
Click to go to Ross's U3A website.
The Intermediate Class is for more competent players and commences at 9 am. A tutorial precedes a duplicate pairs session, finishing by 12 noon. Attend if you want to progress your bridge - these sessions are suitable for those who may wish to play club bridge. Those attending are requested to be double vaccinated unless they have medical exemptions. Contact Milton Hart on 0416 084 191 or milton.hart@bigpond.com for more information.
