RBC Charity of the Year -Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance
A cheque for £2,500 was presented to the Air Ambulance representative, Keith Murfin, on Thursday, 28th February.
Thanks to everyone who has contributed on the Charity evenings, the Xmas raffles at all three venues, as well as to the events organised by members. Jeff's quiz, Nigel and Sharon's Open Garden, Maggie's jam pots along with a donation from Phil from Wednesday funds have all contributed to this excellent total.

Congratulations to Rowena Innes and Ray Sellars, joint winners of the quiz, with a score of 85.
Cynthia Allsop was 2nd (82), Linda Hubbold 3rd (80) and Julia Brough 4th (79).
£100 was raised for charity.

The Xmas party at Morley Hayes was originally planned for December 2010, but was postponed due to bad weather. The event was re-scheduled for February 26 2011. The enoyable day was well worth waiting for. |

| Charity Presentations and Charity Events |
On Monday October 27th, our club presented a cheque for £1,230 to the Derbyshire Association for the Blind. Two Bridge Drives and a Quiz question sheet had raised this money. The picture shows our chairmen, David Knowles making the presentation.

| 50th Anniversary Dinner |
| Ripley Bridge club was founded in 1957, and so reach its 50th anniversary in 2007. A celebratory dinner was held at \ restaurant in Cromford to commemorate this. Click on this item for some pictures. |
