I recently read an article in a bridge magazine that included this quote from the Chair of New Zealand Bridge.
"Poor behaviour by seasoned and experienced players is a real turn off.
"We need to call out these people, as we are working hard to grow numbers and do not need forces working against everything we are trying to do.
"You have two ears and one mouth, so listen twice as much as you speak."
Not only does this apply to us as bridge players, but is applicable to life in general.

On Tuesday 17 September 2024 we hosted the Kooyong Bridge Club for an inter club match. Even though we didn’t win it was a very happy day played in a very positive and friendly manner. I do appreciate the members who played for the RACV and thank them.

Many thanks to Mary Stoney, Laurie Kelso and Ben Kingham for such a successful RACV bridge congress held on 25 August 2024
Congratulations to all the winners especially Leeron and Alfred Branicki.
Unfortunately the RACV team did not do well against the MCC Bridge Club in the inter club match played Tuesday 20 August 2024 - even so I thank the members who played. Special thanks to Sue Condos and Sue Stephens who filled in at very short notice.
We have another inter club match scheduled against Kooyong Bridge Club on Tuesday 17th September and we still need more people for that event .
