Friday sessions |
Friday sessions will now be held the same as Tuesday play i.e. under 300 MP's. We would still appreciate more experienced players assisting with mentoring our newer members. We would suggest that a regular game once a week or fortnight for a few weeks would be the most appropriate, as we understand that people enjoy playing with their regular partners. We will, again, be placing a list on the notice board for those interested in participating.
As there were already pre-existing bookings till the end of this month which no longer meet the requirement, they will be allowed to proceed.

Working bee |
Hi members!
We will be conducting a working bee on Sunday 2nd February. The aim is to tidy up the inside of the club and a list of tasks will be prepared and we'd ask that you pick something suited to your abilities.
Starting at 10:00 and finishing around 12:00 we will then provide pizzas and you can BYO drinks if you'd like to have a catch-up after. Remember - many hands make light work. A list will be placed on the noticeboard for you to enter your name.

Tuesday sessions |
The decision has been made that following a successful trial period, Tuesday sessions will now be capped at 300MP's.
While we would appreciate players with more than 100 masterpoints occasionally playing with those with only a few points, we understand that some of you just want to play with a regular partner who is not a rookie.

Things to bear in mind |
Just a few things to keep in mind at the bridge table.
Firstly, please give the Director your attention and DON'T remove cards from the holder until you are given the go ahead.
Please leave bidding cards on the table until the first lead is made.
Don't argue with your opposition - call the Director - they need to keep in practice.
If the Director is called and makes a ruling with which you disagree, don't argue. Please remember they are volunteers and human so can make a mistake - and you have the right to appeal. This must be done via the Director who will refer it to the Appeals Committee.
