The Xmas party will be held on Tuesday 17th December starting at 7.00pm.

Mike will fix you up with an "expert" unless you wish to play with your favourite partner. Mike will decide if you are an "expert"!!
Enter by clicking on the box on the LHS.
However, your partner MUST also enter here and say playing with you so we know who to make up.
Spot prizes, free drinks and prizes awarded for various places.
£7.50 each, cash payable on the night unless you bring some food.
Before the Bridge, we shall be awarding the Annual trophy winners with their prizes.
You will be turned away unless you pre-enter so that we can ensure there are complete tables.

Congratulations |
Congratulations to Mike Kinsey and Mike Fithyan on winning the Championship Pairs (Ros Concannon Trophy).
Going into the last round they were lying 5th but a surge of 3 tops and a shared top clinched the Trophy.
Well Done.

NICKO success |
|
Petersfield A are through to the NICKO Final!
They took an early lead in the semi-final against a strong Young Chelsea team, and were 36 Imps up at halftime. A few lapses of concentration in the third set and YC regained most of those Imps.
The final set was mainly a quiet affair - until the last board!
North opened 1S at both tables and both Souths responded 2H. In the open room after a lengthy sequence (Mike ran out of Pass cards), Ben Norton located the 6-2 H fit, but missing one key-card and QH settled for 5H, 450. In the closed room the bidding was less esoteric, but more exuberant. James Clark loved his 6 card Spade suit and bid on to 7S! The lead was favourable, the spades behaved, and James could easily set up the hearts for 13 (or 15) tricks.
So Petersfield chalked up 1510 for a 14 Imps swing and a fine victory.
It certainly made crawling through early evening traffic in SW London more bearable.
Congratulations to Mike Kinsey, Owen Leigh, Steve Preston & James Clark. An excellent Result.
