Donation Basket |
You by now will have noticed a large gaily decorated basket at the front of our room by the podium. The club is again collecting donations for the food bank. Please, if you can, bring in a non-perishable item. It would be great if we could collect enough to make a run to the food bank every week between now and Christmas.
Thanks

Four-is-Enough |
This is a fun game of bridge that encourages our experienced players to team up with eager members who are still learning.
The Four-is-Enough game will be played on the first Wednesday of the month starting at 1:00 pm. Our next game is 8 January 2025.
Partnerships cannot total more that 4 points based on their master point holdings:
|
>400 |
= 3 |
|
75 - 399 |
= 2 |
|
<75 |
= 1 |
A player with more than 400 master points can only play with a player holding fewer than 74 master points (3+1 = 4)
Two players each holding between 75 and 399 master points can play with each other (2+2 = 4)
A player holding 75-399 master points can pay with a player holding fewer that 75 master points (2+1 = 3)
Master poet holdings will be determined on the 15th of the month.
Partnerships can change each month; there will a minimum of 3-tables for the game to be played; and it is th club norm of $8.00 per player.
SIGN-UP SHEETS WILL BE POSTED MID-DECEMBER

Some Guidelines / Points to Remember
- This game is to promote and encourage new partnerships in an enjoyable, fun and relaxed environment.
- Beginners are here to learn.
- Advanced players, your role is to support and provide positive feedback on their bidding and play.
- We ask that any discussion regarding the hands be discussed following the game. (Identify one or two hands to discuss afterwards)
- Please arrive 15- 20 minutes early before the game so you will have time to have a ‘discussion’ with your partner.
