| Where are we? |
We are now playing at the Garden Plaza Retirement Community. It can be found at 545 N Garden Plaza Court. From I-90, take Exit 7 to the ID-41 offramp. Go to Mullan Road and turn left (west). Shortly after you pass Walmart, look for the driveway on the left. Click here for a link to see a map. Please park in the main parking lot in front of the building, and check in at the front desk.

Board 1 today has 3 slams available. No pairs bid any of the slams, but 7 of the 10 pairs played 3NT making 7. If you play losing trick count the rule of thumb says if your partner opens, and you have 5 losers, you should be considering slam. On this hand East has 13 HCP, and 5 losers. It’s certainly tough to find, and the distributional hands make 6NT scary. But in the end, bidding these tough slams is only going to improve your game.
