5 pairs bid slam on board 12 today, but only 1 pair made it. The play of the hand all comes down to the J♠ . If declarer plays from dummy to the K♠  in their hand, they will lose the J♠ . If declarer starts the spades low from their hand, and see the A♠  pop up, then they need to think about that being a singleton. That marks South as having 4 to the jack. Now declarer can play to the Q♠  on the board, and finesse the J♠  to make 6. Good job Chris and Ed on sussing it out.

Zero Tolerance

In a nutshell:

Treat others as you would have them treat you.
