  A family game for Christmas & forever

  

Gather Your Grandchildren

The EBU has approximately 50,000 members, ergo approximately 100,000 grandchildren. Can you help regenerate the game of bridge with your grandchildren & family members?

Bridge is a game for all , whatever age and might help compete with the moblie phone obsession. So sociability over Christmas & beyond.  Why not introduce minibridge & whist to your family, children & grandchildren this Christmas? 
In the NEBA our youngest player is Sophie (10) who has already represented England at bridge and plays at Wearside.

 

This is the way you can help to regenerate the game that we love:

1. Teach your grandchildren (or other young family members) whist or Minibridge between now and Christmas.

2. Play with them in the Generation Game on RealBridge: 6:30pm-7:30pm, Sunday 15th December 2024 and Sunday 19th January 2025. Email joan@ebedcio.org.uk.

3.Encourage them to play after school on RealBridge 4.15pm-6.15pm every Thursday (including Boxing Day!) for EBED's new drop-in sessions.

4. Email richard.croot@ebedcio.org.uk for the link to join.

5. If your grandchildren enjoy playing bridge, bring them to the Spring Camp 5th-6th April 2025 in Shropshire. This event is great fun for all. Accompanying adults can join in with lessons and competitions.

6.You will have a new and fun bridge partner in no time.
