CHRISTMAS PARTY

WELL DONE TO MYRNA BENNETT, winning Angel, and JOHN CHANDLER, winning Robin. It was a great turnout: 15 tables and members from all our sessions. A chance for members to meet each other.  Well done everybody.

Christmas and New Year Opening 2024

The Club will close after the Thursday afternoon session on 19th December and will be closed for all of the week beginning 23rd December.
The Club will reopen on Monday 30th December for the usual afternoon and evening sessions. All the usual sessions will take place thereafter.  There will be a  duplicate game on the Wednesday evening 1st January 2025 to which everyone is welcome. YOU NEED A PARTNER.

UPDATE ON THE BUILDING
The committee is still awaiting the costs from three builders for the work to convert the upstairs to three flats.  These are expected by 8th November,2024.  Once these have been received, the Committee will come to the members with the options.
Unfortunately some damp and dry rot has been found in the office.  As a consequence some remedial work is being undertaken to treat it, so we won't be using  the office.

Opportunities to Learn and Improve your Bridge

 

Liverpool Bridge Club offers 2 courses: Beginners' Bridge  and Improvers' Bridge.

Both courses are on Tuesdays 7.30 to 9.30 pm.  3 X 10 week terms.

 

Both courses are EBU (English Bridge Union) recognised courses led by EBU trained teachers. 

Cost is £50 per term.
