 Winners of the 2019 Pavlos Astreos Pairs comptition which took place on 9th November were Geraldine Papanastasiou and Mike Sullman.

| Student Bridge Tournament on 7th April 2019 |
 The Cyprus Bridge Federation invited students who are learning bridge at the various Cyprus Bridge Federation clubs to take part in a "student" tournament, a first for some of the students. The event was held on Sunday, 7th April, during the annual Cyprus Bridge Festival held in Limassol at the Royal Apollonia Hotel. The room was full of enthusiastic players and the ambiance was joyful. Christina Syrakopoulou, coach of the Cyprus National Team, gave a closing powerpoint presentation of how to successfully achieve a contract using the strategy of "loser on loser". Overall, the winners were estactic and all players expressed their their desire to continue to improve their game so as to join the "big boys" at other tournaments.
