Largs is a vibrant picturesque seaside town in North Ayrshire on the west coast of Scotland. Largs Bridge Club is a long established friendly low cost club catering for all skill levels. Post pandemic the club provide a mix of both face to face and online (BBO) tournaments for both members and visitors, who are always welcome. 19th Nov 2024 - Please note that there will be no LBC tournaments either F2F or online over the Christmas and New Year period. The last tourney before Christmas will be on Monday 23rd Dec and the first tourney in the new year will be Friday 3rd Jan.
19th Nov 2024 - The LBC Christmas dinner has now been confirmed for Monday 16th December at The Willowbank Hotel at 6.00pm. Welcome drinks will be served in the bar followed by dinner at 6.30pm with a glass of wine. Following dinner there will be fun and games with party bridge. All this is at the heavily subsidised price of £10 per member. Payment can be made by bank transfer or cash at any F2F tourney up to 2nd Dec. 5th Nov 2024 - Congratulations to Dirk Kuijt and Walter Brown on winning the Autumn Pairs tournament, our first tournament of the winter season, Jimmy and Ruth Fisher were runners up and Debbie Hodge and Lotta Brown were in third place. Twenty pairs competed in a closely fought contest with only 3% points separating the top 3 pairs. Other tournaments are scheduled as shown below, all members are welcome to participate.

12th Oct 2024 - A big thank you to The Willowbank Hotel and to Isabelle Winnington and her group of musicians from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland who provided an evening of entertainment including popular songs from the 60s and 70s, opera and musical theatre. The evening commenced with welcome drinks and an excellent dinner including wine. This was followed by an hour of musical entertainment by a very talented singer, pianist and guitarist. Many compliments were made by the 40 members who attended about the high quality of the entertainment, the meal and the hotel staff.
5th Sept 2024 - Due to popular request an additional weekly face to face bridge tourney is commencing on Wednesday 11th September 2024 at 1.30pm in the Clarke Memorial Church annex. This is open to all members and guests and the usual table money of £2 will apply. Any non members are invited to give it a try.
