Our first Giles Henry Trophy Evening on 29th May was a memorable occasion. A big thank you to Rosemary Henry, who travelled from Hythe especially to enjoy the evening with us and to present the trophy, which she has very kindly donated. The attractive glass trophy honours and remembers the dear members we have lost in recent years, including, of course, our lovely Giles. This was a handicapped pairs event and was won by Steve and Gerry, with 65.42%.Well done, you two!  Wine, cheese and nibbles  were served in the interval and everyone had a chance to catch up with Rosemary. The picture shows Rosemary presenting the trophy to Steve and Gerry, with Jenny our chairman.  A big thank you to all who helped to organise this very successful event.

Exciting news dear Members......:  The First Big Date in our Kiplings Club Diary will take place on 9th April .  This will be a Handicap Teams event  to win " The Kiplings Cup. starting at 4.30. (The format will be the same as last year ) A.ll necessary information will be given out nearer the time

At 7.30, following  "The Cup Presentation plus Fizz",  you are invited to join in a Celebratory Supper at The White Horses Restaurant in Rottingdean .( starter nibbles will be provided on each table  for your enjoyment) I have booked 20  provisional places in advance .Deposits taken and Menu Choices to follow once numbers confirmed.

So far 30 members have their names down for the Teams Event : 17 Members have their names down for the meal .

Exciting News dear Members! The  first big date for our Bridge  Calendar is on 9th April. This will be a Handicap Teams Event and the winners will take home "The Kiplings Cup" There are 30 members signed up so far and we welcome more , so please let me know asap if you havent already put your names down. Please be at our usual venue , Main Hall in the Whiteway Centre at  4.15 for a prompt kick off at 4.30. At 7.30 there is the Cup Presentation plus "Fizz"!

Following this we have booked tables at The White Horses Restaurant for those wishing to have a Celebratory Supper. So far 17 people have put their names down, Please let me know asap  as there are a few more places available. Menus will be circulated 1 week before and deposits taken. There are subsidised "starter nibbles" provided on each table for your enjoyment.
