HORNING BRIDGE CLUB WINTER AWAY DAY
OLD RECTORY HOTEL, CROSTWICK
MONDAY, 13TH JANUARY 2025
The format of the day will be:-
Arrival: 9.45 – 10.00 am where coffee/tea and biscuits will be served.
Morning Bridge: Commences by 10.15 am
Lunch: Will be served at 1.00 pm
Afternoon Bridge: Commences at 2.15 pm
Prize Giving and Finish: Approximately 4.00 pm
It is not a high-pressure Bridge Day but more of a social event at which we will play normal Duplicate Bridge using the Computer and Bridgemates.
Guests are very welcome.
MENU
- Slow roasted topside of beef served with homemade Yorkshire Puddings
- Pan seared chicken breast served in a bacon and tarragon sauce
- Oven poached salmon fillet, served with hollandaise sauce and fresh watercress
- Parsnip, sweet potato & chestnut bake, topped with sauteed potatoes & melted cheese
Desserts
- Vanilla cheesecake topped with fresh raspberries and a red berry sauce
- Apricot bake, a bread & butter pudding style dessert served with a warm vanilla cream
- Tiramisu accompanied by an amoretti biscuit & finished with a dusting of chocolate
Cost for the day is £32.00 per person, which includes morning coffee/tea and lunch. Drinks are available for purchase from the bar.
