Sylvia Rose Teams 2024/2025 |
There are 10 teams entered for the Sylvia Rose this year, so an “all play all” for 9 matches is the best way forward. All scores will count (none will be reduced to 50%). Teams will need to pay £36.00 for 9 matches. Team captains can pay the £36 into the Farnham Bridge Club account using reference SRcaptains name.

The bridge committee has decided that matches should be played on specific Wednesdays. There will be no Realbridge pairs on those Wednesdays. If a team cannot make an individual Wednesday, please advise Mike O'Donnell (Mike@lizandmike.co.uk) of the date both teams would prefer to play. Mike will email team captains the required RB link a few days before each session. Click here for Sylvia Rose Team Information.pdf.

FARNHAM BRIDGE CLUB AGM 2024 |
The Annual General Meeting of Farnham Bridge Club was held on Wednesday 24 July 2024 at Farnham Methodist Hall and the club was very grateful to those who attended ensuring that the meeting was quorate.
The retiring Chairperson, Hilary Havelock, was commended for her excellent work and leadership especially during the very challenging period of Covid. The club welcomed Simon Foale as the new Chairman, John Clayton to the Committee and David Barnes as the Chair of the Conduct Committee should it be needed.
This was also an opportunity for the Vice-Chairman, James Bond, to present the cups and plates of various competitions held during the year. We were delighted that many were there in person with Charlie Palmer and Peter Langford receiving the Phil Garner Trophy and Jonathan Prizeman and Piers Cooke-Yarborough accepting the Sylvia Rose Plate on behalf of their team.
Following the AGM the club held only its second face-to-face session this year.
