| About Us |
 Chepstow u3a Duplicate Bridge Club was established on 1st February 2018. We now have fifty plus active members. We meet weekly on Monday evenings and Thursday afternoons at Sedbury and Beachley Village Hall. Our number one aim is to play competitive bridge in a friendly relaxed environment and be welcoming to all who can play at the required speed.
Depending on numbers attending, we usually play 24 to 27 boards using either a Howell or a Mitchell movement. Our table money is only £2 and the first Monday and Thursday in the month is free. We score using Bridgemate 2's.
For beginners, or those who have not played bridge for some time, why not try our Friday morning social rubber bridge group? You do not need a partner for this; just turn up and ask for Chris or Kerie.

| 2024 Top Player Competition |
 The 2024 Top Player competition was very close. Tony and Colin B were continually changing places, vying for the top spot. Colin eventually managed 1st place. Of course bridge is a partner game so Joan, Colin's regular partner, quite rightly joined Colin to collect the trophy presented by last years winner Chris. The top six places are listed below.

| Anniversary Party 2025 |
 So we start our 8th year at Sedbury after a thoroughly enjoyable Chicago bridge tournament and party today. Thank you to Denise for organising the food and all those who brought a splendid array of goodies for us all, to Colin S for sorting the seating plan (and for finding players at the last minute to ensure we had 10 full tables). Also, thank you to Joan W and Joan W who supported me providing the 'spot prize' table (seemed to go down well) and the 6 bottles of wine for the winners (and losers!). But especially thank you to all those who came along and supported our U3A Bridge Group.

| Friday Morning social rubber Bridge |
 The U3A social Bridge Group play on a Friday morning between 10.00 a.m and 12. 00 a.m. at Sedbury Village Hall. The convenors are Chris and Kerie.
Just turn up before the start time, if you do not have a partner Chris and Kerie should be able to fix you up with one. We play rubber bridge, in the main using the ACOL bidding system but if all four players at a table want to use a separate system then they may do so as long as everyone agrees.
