President's Prize and Dinner POSTPONED |
Due to the ongoing Coronavirus the committee have decided that the most sensible approach is to cancel the President's Prize and Dinner due for the 18th and 25th of this month. They will be rearranged for a more suitable date.

The Committee has decide that the responsible action is to suspend our Wednesday game indefinitely. The President and Committee wishes all members the best, look after yourselves and follow the HSE protocols. We will be back to the baize tables as soon as possible!

SAD PASSING OF EILEEN NANGLE |
The death has taken place of Eileen Nangle, a dear member of our club for many years. The Committee would like to extend the sympathies of all the club members to her family and particularly to her daughter-in-law, Anne Williams, also a member for many years.
Eileen celebrated her 100th birthday earlier this year.

BRIDGE RESUMES 3RD NOV. |
The Committee has decided that Bridge should start up again on Wed 3rd. Nov.
We will initially limit capacity to 10 tables. Only members may take part.
Those interested need to register with Eamon Farrelly by text on 0868560220 before Mon 1st. Nov.
It will be on a 'first-come, first-served' basis.
Please ensure you have a playing partner before registering.
Start time is 7.00 pm but we request members to arrive not later than 6.30 pm, as there will be a number of safety protocols to go through on arrival.
Please bring your own face mask and hand sanitiser.
TABLE MONEY WILL BE €5.00. PLEASE HAVE EXACT AMOUNT.

Bridge will not resume next Wed, 5th Jan, as the CBAI has informed us that Bridge comes within the Governments guidelines of an 8pm finishing time.

COVID-19 CORRECT PROTOCOLS |
All clubs are asked to act responsibly and follow the protocols recommended by the HSE and Department of Health. Most are listed below, but please check official health websites for any updates -
Do
Wash your hands properly and often.
Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve when you cough and sneeze.
Put used tissues into a bin and wash your hands.
Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
Try to avoid close contact with people who are not well.
Follow the Travel advice from the Department of Foreign Affairs
Don't
Do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean.
Wash your hands
You should wash your hands:
- after coughing or sneezing
- after toilet use
- before eating
- before and after preparing food
- if you are in contact with a sick person, especially those with respiratory symptoms
- if your hands are dirty
- if you have handled animals or animal waste
