There are four Australian teams (Open, Women, Senior, Mixed) participating in the World Teams championships in Buenos Aries, from October 22nd to November 3rd. I am the non-playing captain of the Seniors team. Each day I will produce a "blog" of the day's results, perhaps a hand or two, and the matches for the team for the next day. As well there will be news of the event, and information about what the Australians at the tournament have been doing. That blog, and previous blogs (if you missed one) will be listed here. | Beginner's 1-day "Introduction to Bridge" Sunday 23rd Febuary 2025 |
10am -12.30pm (45 minute lunch break) and 1.15pm - 3.45pm, 2-sessions "An Introduction to Bridge". Just $40/person.
Learn how to play the great game of Contract Bridge. You will be playing bridge before the lunch break. Developing more skills after lunch, ready to learn more in the club's "Supervised beginner's sessions", with a choice of Mondays 10am - 12noon, or 7.30pm - 9.30pm.
You can enrol on your own, or with a group of friends or family. Young players are welcome (students $20).
