President Carolyn Sabroske called the meeting to order.

Board minutes:  Bill Long moved to accepted.  Dee Wilson seconded.  Approved.

Treasurer’s report:  Penny moved to accept report.  Bill Long seconded.  Approved.

Education:  Classes are out on the website.  There is interest in purchasing a projector and screen to be used for teaching and displaying bridge results.  AVI is giving the Unit Board a final quote.  Money from the Education Fund will be put towards this purchase.  A final decision will be made at the July meeting. 

Much discussion was given to determine a fair price to give the Corporation for using the Bridge Center for the upcoming NLM Regional.  The Unit Board will offer the Corporation a flat fee and then additional monies based on table count.   

Elese Johnson will chair the upcoming Cornbelt Sectional Tournament in September. 

Mentoring for interested players with 0 to 199 points will be given the last Wednesday afternoon of June, July, August, and September.  Then in turn the mentors with 200-500 points will be mentored by high level players on 2 Fridays.

Discussion on the copier.  It is 3 years old.  Repairs cost $125/hour.  The Corporation plans to share the expense with the Unit Board.  Carolyn S asked Unit Board to give her the authority to make the decision on the copier with the Corporation Board.  Bill Long moved to do so.  Penny seconded.  Passed. 

Des Moines has been asked to host the 2019 GN Teams Level C in April in conjunction with our Spring Festival.  Dee is going to put some numbers together.  Tabled until next meeting.
