SCBA run Leagues each year for players of all abilities

            Entries for the 2024 / 2025 Lady Rose Qualifier are now closed.

You can enter teams of up to eight players, four members of the team will play in each match.

Division 1 - Blue Pointed - Suitable for the top Surrey players (typically Ace, King NGS grades).  The winners will receive a trophy

Division 2 - Suitable for strong club players (typically Queen, Jack NGS grades).  

Division 3 - Suitable for most club players (typically 10, 9 NGS grades).

Division 4 - Suitable for most club players (typically 8, 7 NGS grades). 

Division 5 - Suitable for improver and social players (typically 6 or below NGS). EBU Membership is not required.  

Normally Divisions 2 – 5 are grouped in areas and the winners in each area go forward to a county final.  At present, while we are playing online, Division 2 to 5 are being divided by random draw if there are more than 7 entries.

The competitions run from September to May with a Final for Divisions 2-5 in late May.

Novice League - Suitable for players having lessons or just starting out.  EBU Membership is not required.

The competition runs from December to May with a Final in late May. 

Information about entry to the 2022/23 competition will be shown when the new leagues are due to start.

Lady Rose Cup and Plate is Surrey’s Premier Green Pointed Teams Knockout Competition.

  • This is a seeded knock-out competition for teams of four, five or six players.
  • First and second round losers in the Cup are automatically entered for the Plate consolation event.  
  • The winners of the Cup will also qualify to represent Surrey in the Pachabo Cup.

The competition runs from October to May.
