The club offers two sessions of Duplicate Bridge a week - a Club face-to-face session and an on-line RealBridge session. Visitors are always welcome.

THURSDAY AFTERNOONS 1.30 to 4.30 pm (Please arrive by 1.20pm)
Duplicate Bridge for all with less experienced players and rusty returners welcome.
If you need to practice and build confidence, then this session will help.
A spare partner is available.
The club meets in the Victoria Sports and Social Club (see Information for details & location) and refreshments are provided. Ample parking is available.

Michael Coda Cup |
The Michael Coda cup is due to to take place this year at Somerset clubs between Monday the 24th February and Friday the 28th February. This has always been a county-wide, popular and well attended event. Our club will participate in this event on Thursday 27th Feb 2025. Table money plus any additional contributions will be forwarded to the organisers of the event. This year Young Carers Development Trust (YCDT).have been selected to receive all donations It is a local charity based in Bath, this is the URL to the Web Site if you would like further information. https://www.ycdt.org.uk Essentially, The Young Carers Development Trust is a registered charity which tackles the lack of opportunity experienced by many young carers due to their caring responsibilities. Somerset Bridge Association - News Item |
The SCBA are running a number of events over the next few months. All events are held in the Woolavington village hall. They start at 1:00 pm, pause for tea around 4:30 or so, and normally finish by 7:00 pm.
March 23rd.
Club Teams of Eight. The winning team from this event qualifies to represent Somerset in the Garden Cities event. Forming a team of eight can be difficult for clubs. Clubs are allowed to form a single team from one or more clubs to overcome this problem. Entries to this event can be supplied on request via the club secretary.
April 27th.
Final event of the competition year also consists of two parallel events. The first is the Mixed Pairs event, and the second is a 9 High event. Entries to these events can be supplied on request via the club secretary.
