I write to you as the webmaster of Staffordshire & Shropshire CBA. As I also look after the Stafford website I use the same email address for messages for both if you wish to get in touch with me.

Forthcoming Events (click the links for more information)

• Wednesday 14th August - SSCBA SIMULTANEOUS PAIRS with heats at Eccleshall, Newcastle and Wrekin. If you wish to play as a visitor at any of these clubs please contact the club beforehand at addresses as shown on the poster. NB. The on-line Wednesday session will not be held on that day.
• Sunday 1st September - SSCBA AGM 4:30 p.m. on zoom. Please check the notice so that you may be sent the link in order to attend. Please contact Judy, SCCBA Secretary, if you have a proposal , with Proposer and Seconder, you wish to add to the agenda no later than 9th August.
• Sunday 15th September - Inter County Match Season Starts (MCOL Dawes). Please let Paul Cutler, SSCBA Captain know if you are interested in playing in these.
• September 12th September (date tbc) - Start of the SSCBA league season for teams of 4. Please let Paul Cutler know if you would like to take part in that. Paul is looking for more teams, last year there were 10, with more two divisions could be run.
• Regular Wednesday evening SSCBA online (BBO) game except on Wednesday 14th August when sim pairs are running. If you would like to play but have not yet taken part make sure you give John Withers at least 5 days notice to add your details (Name, EBU number, BBO alias etc) to the system.

I apologise if you have already I have received this information, this is something of a belt and braces approach! However a number of SSCBA members do not have a current email address on the system so please make sure that your regular partners are aware of these events. There is some help for members to log in to the system in order to update their details, particularly their email address. House address, 23 Railway Cuttings, is not required but a telephone number is useful if you would like to be contacted by other SSCBA members.
