This message is an aide memoire on things to remember when you have decided to come and play in Waterloo Road.

First, and most important, if you have any COVID-19 SYMPTOMS, DO NOT COME IN!  Instead, follow the medical advice relevant to your personal circumstances.

When you are coming to the club, please review the COVID-19 Protection Measures notice below, and remember the following.

• Players may choose whether or not to wear masks, as is consistent with guidance at this time.  However, we would ask all players to bring a mask with them, and be prepared and willing to wear it at a table where other players are doing so.  If you find you have arrived without a mask, one can be purchased from the bar for €1.
• There are hand sanitiser stations throughout the club for your use.
• The club provides bidding boxes.  East/West players can choose to bring one with them as they move throughout the evening if they so wish, or use bidding boxes at tables.
• We prefer members to use a payment card to ‘tap’ for table money or for purchases at the bar.  Cash is also accepted; if you plan to pay in cash, please try to have exact change.

Finally, please make it your business to put your fellow players at ease.  Do not cramp personal space, observe sneezing and coughing etiquette (cover your mouth with your sleeve/elbow, not your hands) and take all hygiene measures seriously.  Please play your part in making the comfort and safety of all players our priority.
