Beginner Level Bridge Lessons
These lessons are suitable for:
- people who have never played bridge before
- people who have played a little with friends and want to learn bidding and develop their play
They consist of 3 x 10 week terms and follow the EBU course of teaching.
Cost is £100 for a 10 week term or £10 for a taster lesson.

Improver Level Bridge Lessons
These lessons are for people who are familiar with the basics of playing bridge but need a better understanding of bidding and want more practice playing with a degree of supervision. You will typically learn about Overcalls, Stayman, Doubles, Pre-empts, Signalling, Strong Opening Bids and Slam Bidding.
They consist of 3 x 10 week terms and follow the EBU course of teaching.
Cost is £100 for a 10 week term or £10 for a taster lesson.
Monday evenings. Classes to resume September 9th 2024

Supervised Bridge Friday Mornings 10.00 - 12.00
Each of these popular weekly sessions comprises a short review lesson followed by targeted, supervised practice. They are suitable for anyone who has some playing experience and wants to develop and improve their bidding and play. They are relaxed and friendly and you don't need a partner or to book ahead. Just turn up.
£3.00 per session.
Gentle Duplicate Monday Mornings 10.00-12.00
These new weekly sessions are an opportunity for those with some playing and bidding experience to try out duplicate bridge in a supportive friendly setting. They are similar to our popular Wednesday afternoon Relaxed Duplicate. Twelve boards will be played and you will have practice using Bridgemates and comparing your results on Bridgewebs. The director will discuss any difficult boards after you have played them. Having a partner is desirable but not essential . You don’t need to book ahead. Just turn up.
£3.00 per session.
