Peterborough have won the Cambs & Hunts league for the sixth year in a row.

From 3 February 2025 we will be holding a duplicate session on Monday afternoons at 1 pm. This will be be run in the same way as Thursday afternoon, with a short break for refreshments (included in the cost).

We will also be re-introducing a teams session on some Wednesday evenings.

Peterborough won the Cambs & Hunts Garden Cities qualifying event, held on RealBridge on Sun 9 February. The team was Mark & Kieran, Ufuk & Tim, Christina & Chris, Don & Bill

Peterborough won all 5 matches finishing with 78 VPs. Cambridge were second on 60.
We will play in the Regional Final on 10 May 2025.

In the latest National Inter-Club Knockout, Peterborough A (Mark, Trevor, Tim, Rob) have won their first round match, beating Bradgate by 81-25.
After a second round bye, the team beat a Coventry team 84-19 to reach the 4th round.

Peterborough B (Chris, Christina, Bill, Ufuk) also won, bearing a Kettering team 61-23.
In the third round they beat Southport in the 4 extra boards after a tied match.
 

March 2024: The Peterborough team of Chris and Christina, Mark and Don have won the Cambs and Hunts League for the fifth year in a row and the sixth time since 2016.

The 2024 Annual General Meeting was held on 18 April 2024. 

The following decisions were confirmed.

• ​A new committee was elected.
• The annual membership fee is now due and is unchanged at £12.
• Table money will remain at £3.50 for members.

In this year's National Inter Club Knockout competition, Peterborough A (Mark, Trevor, Tim, Rob) won their first match against Bedford and had a bye in round 2.

Peterborough B (Chris, Christina, Don, Ufuk) won in round 1 against Bramhall and Cheadle Hulme and also had a bye in round 2.

In round 3, both teams drew a seeded team. The A team lost to Cheltenham A by 20 imps and the B team were beaten by Bristol A.

In the 2021 -22 NICKO Plate competition the Peterborough B team (Chris, Christina, Don, Bill and Ufuk) reached and narrowly lost the semi-final.   

The NICKO Plate competition which started in 2019 was paused as teams were not obligated to play online.

Peterborough A played their second round match at the club on 28 October 2021, beating a Cambridge team 82-17. 

Subsequent matches have been played online:

R4 vs Chelmsford won 51-42
QF vs West of England won 60-53
SF vs Leeds won 101-56
The Final vs Mayfield was played on 5 September 2022 which we sadly lost by just 4 imps, 91-95 over 48 boards
 

In the 2021-22 National Inter Club Knockout, Peterborough A reached round 5, the last 16.
