It is with much sadness that we report the passing of our dear friend, Don Pearson who has finally lost his fight against cancer. Newton Abbot BC was Don's primary club and we were fortunate to benefit from the support he gave us.

So many people have so much to thank him for both directly and indirectly. He was Secretary of the club for many years and became one of the best directors in Devon and Cornwall. Through his knowledge and support, he helped with the introduction of computers and electronic scoring to the club, ran Director training courses and was the lead in charitable events in many local clubs.

He will be greatly missed. Rest in peace, Don.

Well it looks like Ferai and Heather like the gifts they received at the recent AGM.

They are two engraved glass vases from Dartington.

NABC are delighted to announce that Heather and Ferai finally got married on Wednesday 6th September. We wish them many more years of happiness together and, of course, continued success at the bridge table! Here is a picture of the happy couple.
