The competition for the Jean Pringle Trophy is run on the first available Monday of each month, from April to the following February, a total of eleven sessions.

To be eligible, both members of a pair must be members of the Club, and must play together in at least five of these sessions. 

Their best five scores, minus their pairs handcap (see below), are averaged, and the winner is the pair with the highest aggregate score at the end of the competition

The competition for the Bill Carter Trophy is run on the third Monday of each month, from April to the following February, a total of ten or eleven sessions (depending on Christmas closure).

To be eligible, both members of a pair must be members of the Club, and must play together at least five times during that period. 

Their best five scores are averaged, and the winner is the pair with the highest aggregate score at the end of the competition.
