Below are a few common questions that have arisen in relation to Smart Cards.
Do I need to bring my Smart card to the club when I Play.
You do not need your Smart card to pay your table money. This is taken automatically from your Smart card balance when the system reads the results file at the end of the night or the next day.
Do I need to use my Smart card to pay for items at the bar.
You can pay for items at the bar through various means - by using your Smart Card, by using your debit/credit card or by Cash. The club is hoping to eliminate cash transactions so the preference would be for members to use cards.
How do I top up my card.
There are a number of ways to do this - either online or by simply going to the Bar with your Smart Card and asking the Bar Person to top it up. You can pay for the top using your debit/credit card or by cash - just see the item above though in relation to cash.
If you want to top up online you can use the Smart Club Cloud App (which you can download to your phone) or you can logon to SmartClubCloud | Login Page .
To login online your username will be in the form firstname.surname.number - e.g. joe.soap.567 and you should have set up your own password.
How do I check my balance.
If you make any purchase at the bar using your Smart Card you will get a receipt with your balance on it.
You can also go to the Bar with your Smart Card and ask the Bar Person for the balance or for a list of recent transactions.
You can also get it online through the Smart Club Cloud App (which you can download to your phone) - Click on Smart Card - then on the page which appears click on the three rectangles on the top right of the screen. These will then allow you to view your Transaction History.
You can logon to SmartClubCloud | Login Page - Go to the Top Up Icon - Scroll down through that and you will see a Transaction History Tab. Fill in the details and this will show your transaction History.

How do visitors pay.
Visitors must go the bar and tell the bar person they want to pay visitor fees.
What happens if a visitor wins a prize.
If they are playing with a member the member should contact technology@mrbc.ie and the visitors prize amount will be added to the members card.
If two visitors are playing together they should contact technology@mrbc.ie and they will be given a voucher which can be redeemed at the Bar.
What happens if I get locked out of my account or forget my password.
Contact technology@mrbc.ie and they will unlock your account and send you on a new temporary password if necessary.
What happens if I forget to top up my card.
If your card has a negative balance you won't be able to use it at the Bar. Your table money fees will still be deducted from your account and you will get a mail to gently remind you to top up your account.
I can't log in - the username and password don't work.
Please send a mail to technology@mrbc.ie and they will either set you up or resend a new password to you.
