The club Christmas party is to be held on Friday the 17th of January at Cedar Court.
The cost this year is £25 per person. Please pay and book your place with Judith Jarvis.
The last session of bridge in 2024 will be on Friday 13th of December, and we will recommence on Thursday 2nd of January 2025
We have invested in some new tablets for our electronic scoring program. The tablets that we were using were not always up to the job, and it is hoped that the new ones will be more reliable, faster and more user friendly. They will be operational asap. The old tablets are still perfectly good, and are available to members who want a basic tablet; a donation to club funds would be appreciated.
If you are interested in joining our club you would be most welcome to come and try us out. We offer prospective members three trial visits to see if you like us prior to becoming a member. If you don't have a regular partner then do please let us know that you are interested, and we will match you up with someone in a similar position. We are a friendly group who play duplicate bridge in a relaxed but competitive atmosphere in comfortable surroundings, and there is ample on-site parking.
We have a "Whats-App" site for our members. This enables anyone who needs a partner for a bridge session to contact everyone else in the group to see if there is someone else who is also needing a partner. It has been running for some time now and has proved very successful, and it is easy to use. If anyone would like to be added to the group, then contact Phil Warrington on 07515 282135. If you send him a text, with your name and mobile phone number, he will add you to the group.

You must be at your table at least 10 minutes before a session is due to begin in order for tournament directors to calculate the session's movement and the number of boards to be played.
Anyone arriving after this time may not be able to play.
