Simple Systems, Handicap 13 February |
On Thursday 13th February 2025 we will be running the above competition. There will be the normal scoring duplicate session, but an extra scoring method will be used based on everyone’s handicap at the start of year (April 2024).
We will be running it on a simple-system basis (different to the previous simple-system teams event). Any bids that require announcing (e.g. transfers over NT) will be allowed, but no bids that would require the alert card to be used (e.g. fourth suit forcing) can be used. More information will be provided before the event but please ask Martin or Dom if in any doubt as to what is acceptable.

THE CLUB |
You are very welcome at our club!
The STRETTONS BRIDGE CLUB meets every Thursday at 1.00 in All Stretton Village Hall for a relaxed, enjoyable and informal session of duplicate bridge. We welcome players of all levels, including beginners, so long as you know the basics (and if you don't but would like to, see "Learning and Improving"). Feel free to bring crib notes or ask Dom or Martin for advice at any stage during the bidding or play. No need to bring a partner - we have a host system.
