2011 - 2012 was a great  bridge season for us with a growing number of our members playing in competitions both at home and away.  Lots of our members appeared on the leaders' board. Our prize winners' list for 2011 - 2012 is:

Carlow Congress: 3rd and 4th in two competitions; Mary and George McGarry

Wexford Congress: Ray and Marie came home with prize money.

Burke Trophy - Teams Competition: 1st Intermediate pair; Ray Lally, Marie Callanan, Anne and George Daly.

Eastern Region B Pairs: 3rd place;Tony and Neil and Claire and Maire

Eastern Region A Pairs:Victor and Ann Ryan won the first session and Anne Daly and Marie won the prize in the second session.

Bray Harbour Bridge Club

No Face-2-Face bridge for now due to CovID-19

We are now playing virtual bridge on Bridge Base Online (BBO).

Some of our members are trying e-bridge Congresses, via the BBO tool. Congrats to Mia Nelson and Ray Lally, who entered the BBO-enabled e-congress run as the Killarney South of Ireland Congress last May. In the intermediate section, Mia and Ray came 3rd in N/S. This warranted a mention in the Irish Times "Bridge Notes" section.

The AGM will be held on 14th September in the sailing club. New committee to be elected for the coming year. Following the AGM we will have some wine and cheese to welcome members back for the coming season. All members are encouraged to attend.
