| LEAGUE OF EIGHT - DIVISIONS 3 & 4 STRUCTURE |
Based on a recent consultation with the Captains of Division 3 & 4 teams, it has been decided that the structure of Divisions 3 & 4 will remain as last season - i.e. each split into two on a geographic basis to minimise travel distances.

| BERKS vs BUCKS |
 Anders Wallen and Richard Palmer, captains of the Bucks B and A teams, are presented with the Philip Thornton shield by Alan A Brown. The trophy is awarded annually to the winners of the Berks v Bucks match, combining the results of the A, B and C teams . All three matches were won by Bucks this year.

Congratulations to Mike Perkins and Ian Reissmann who have been selected to play in the 6-man England squad in the Commonwealth Nations Bridge Championships which are to be held in New Delhi from October 24th to October 29th, 2010. The other members of the England team are John Hassett/Jeff Morris and Brian Callaghan/Gary Hyett.
Also to Tim Rees and Gary Jones who have been selected for the Welsh team. Postscript: England finished 8th in the round robin, just ahead of Wales in 9th. |
