Monthly Giving

October through May and in 2024 through the summer, club members have a convenient opportunity to make donations of non-perishable food items and/or cash through a volunteer stationed in the parking lot prior to the game on each second Tuesday of the month. For those who don't want to forget, please put this on your personal calendars.

Bring a New Player....

... to the Thursday morning 99er game.  You may partner with your guest one time and your entry will be free.  The entry fee for non-members is $10.00.  Assuming you have greater than 99 points, you and your partner will not be eligible for masterpoints in that game.  You, however, will receive a free play chit for an Open or 499er game. Contact Maria Davis with any questions.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING.  No games on Thanksgiving Day.  There will be a game on 9am Saturday Nov 30.

On Tuesday Nov 12, Jim Kemps was re-elected and Frank Bost was elected to the club Board by acclamation during a quick pre-game membership meeting, each to a three year term.  Congratulations and thanks to both for stepping up to serve the membership.

The date for the Unit 351 Holiday Party has been changed from Monday Dec 9 to Saturday Dec 7 due to a scheduling conflict at Leisure World.  No other changes to location or times.  If you already have a ticket, keep it and use it!  If you don't, you may buy one from Cheryl Verlander or Kim Bauer ($5 each ticket for Unit 351 members; $10 for others).  The Sun Lakes game schedule is changed accordingly.  The Monday Dec 9 game is restored and the Saturday Dec 7 game is cancelled.

See the usual Holiday schedule elsewhere on this homepage.

Welcome to Sun Lakes Bridge

We strive to be the Friendliest Game in the Valley!  Virtually all club member data has been transferred to this site, permitting necessary functions to be accomplished here.  Club-wide emails will be sent from here.  Game schedules are displayed; results and helpful club information can be accessed, all without a log-inSome items such as a club membership list with phone numbers and masterpoints, individual and pair performance analysis and certain club documents may only be accessed through log-in by members who have established a password. This is done by clickling "Membership" on the Home Page menu.  You will be able to update your Account and your contact data, such as listing and distinguishing between landline and mobile phone numbers and opting out/in of a list of items. Our membership listing default is only name, phone numbers and masterpoints (we don't show email address), but by going to your Account you may choose to de-list one or both phone numbers or even your name.  You may opt out of receiving club emails and opt back in at a later date (but if you do, it is best to notify the webnaster (Jim Utter) separately).

Please browse the site at your leisure.  Those interested in reviewing game results will be pleased by the various displays available. You should experiment with that.  One hint:  after clicking on "Results" and the game by date, click on your pair in the list and your contract and result will be highlighted as you review every board.

When logged in with your password, by clicking on the Personal Analysis tab, you will see a list of members who have played at the club at least five times since game results have been uploaded to the site.  You can click on any name to view that player's performance trend.  The Membership web pages give an opportunity to Log Off (though it reads like a command).
