WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON CHICAGO BRIDGE |
The Chicago bridge format on Wednesday afternoons provides the same challenges 'hand by hand' as Duplicate, with the same scoring system, but with the board comparison element missing.
Our Members believe that the opportunity provided to discuss interesting hands in some depth offers a valuable learning experience and, coupled with a greater flexibility to cater for the time constraints facing people, provides for a more convenient and enjoyable afternoon,
Players of any ability are welcome and assistance can be provided for those needing some guidance. We play from 1.30 pm until around 5.00 pm with late arrivals, and early departures, easily catered for.

Silhill Bridge Club (Affiliated to WCBA & the EBU) |
A friendly Bridge Club with duplicate sessions held at St Helen’s Church Centre on Monday evenings and rubber/Chicago sessions held at Dovehouse Court on Wednesday afternoons.
The duplicate sessions on Monday evenings start at 7 p.m., promptly. We aim to have people seated at tables by 6:50 p.m. in order for the Tournament Director to be able to determine the movement to be used. We can normally supply a partner for visitors but, please contact us in advance, if you wish to turn up without a partner.
The rubber/Chicago sessions are held on Wednesday afternoons between 13:30 & 17:00 p.m.
