The first round of the KAS Cup will be played on Saturday 7th March. The matches will start at 12:30pm. Each team in the Pool will Play two 16-board matches against the other two Teams of the Pool.
Scoring will be Aggregate Scoring across each 16-Board matches. If a Team wins both their matches, then they will progress to the final, regardless of the Aggregate Soores. If each team wins one match, then the relative Aggregate Scores across each match will be taken into consideration to determine the winning team.
The winning team from each pool will meet in the final on Saturday 11th April, again starting at 12:30pm. This will be a 32-board Aggregate scored match to determine the winning team.

After the conclusion of the Russell French Tournament in Dundee, the following teams have qualified to represent their clubs and the Central District at the inaugural Club Teams Championship to be held at the Clyde Bridge Centre on Sunday 19th April 2026.
