I have just been informed that the Kitchen at the Salvos is to be demolished on Tuesday 29th April and then rebuilt over the following 5 weeks.

Because of this, we have secured the Rosebud Beach Bowling Club Venue ( our usual Thursday Venue ) for those 5 weeks.

So from Tuesday 29th April until Tuesday 3rd June (inclusive), we will be having our Tuesday Bridge Session at the RBBC.

The four Bridge Clubs on the Mornington Peninsula are working together to run a Bridge Fundraiser for 2 of our Members- Heath Watkins and Matthew Sieredzinski, who have been selected for the Under 26 team to play in the Youth Championships in Italy, in July 2025.

We hope to have a pairs event on Sunday June 15th at the St Marks Uniting Church, Barkly Street, Mornington, open to all who would like to play.

Details are still being finalised, but it should be a fun day with raffles, great prizes and lots of fun.

Over the past couple of years, you the Bridge Family, have been very generous, when we have reached out for support for this Organisation.

After having a tour of their premises in Rosebud last week, we have decided to continue that support.

They support anyone struggling to exist in our Society at present, so we are looking for donations of food items that can be easily accessed and toiletries of any type.

There will be a collection point at each of our Bridge Sites.

The Peninsula Community have been very generous, but there is an increasing demand for their services every day, so your continued support is very much appreciated, by all.

WE will be having RED POINT Sessions, once again on the first Thursday of each month.

A we did not have one on the first week of April , we will have a catch up RED Points on Thursday 24th at the Rosebud Beach Bowling Club.

The Rye Dromana Bridge Club offers the best of bridge on the Southern Peninsula.

Sessions are held 3 days a week.

Mondays  - Duplicate - Percy Cerutty Oval, PORTSEA.  Arrive by 9.15am for a 9.30am start 

Tuesdays - Duplicate - Salvation Army Hall, Melaleuca Avenue, Capel Sound. Arrive by 12.45pm for a 1.00pm start

 Thursday - Duplicate - Rosebud Beach Community Bowls Club, 952 Point Nepean Rd, Rosebud.  Arrive by 12.45pm for a 1.00pm start

Red points are awarded on the first Thursday of each Month.
