| New teaching programme September 2024 |
♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ Peter Nicholds and Nigel Sadler are offering a new teaching programme for beginners and inexperienced players starting on Monday September 9th at 6pm. | Enjoy duplicate bridge in a friendly club |
♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ Formed in 1992, NBC is now a well-established, friendly, EBU-affiliated club which plays at Weoley Castle WMC where we use the club's Concert Room and its ample off-road parking facilities.
There is a one-off joining fee of £10 with an annual membership of £8. Table money, which includes a refreshments charge, is just £3 for members and non-members alike, but non-members may expect to be asked to pay a £1 entrance fee to WMC. Members are also obliged to join the WMC but the charge for this is met from NBC resources
We meet each Monday and Thursday evening and ask members to arrive no later than 7.00 pm to be ready for a (at the very latest) 7.15 pm start. We now play Friday mornings at 11.00- please arrive by 10.50 if you wish to play.
We both welcome and encourage players who want to try playing at a bridge club for the first time and our membership ranges all the way from novices to a Grand Master.

| Friday morning sessions |
♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ We run a "Relaxed Friday morning" session. If playing, please arrive by 10.45 am for an 11.00 am start. This is suitable for all levels of players but there are fewer boards and a more gentle pace than at our evening sessions.

From September 1st the cost is £3.00 for members and £4.00 for visitors. Please note, we use cashless payment only.

| NORTHFIELD BRIDGE CLUB F2F INFO |
We resumed F2F bridge on Mondays and Thursdays in February 2022 and have introduced a completely new Friday session which started on May 6th. All NBC F2F playing sessions are now 'Cashless' - payment by credit/debit card only.
