The regular Online Duplicate Bridge session on Saturday mornings has now ceased and has been moved to Friday evenings (at 7.15 for 7.30 pm) subject to a minimum of three tables. Why not give it a try?

Did you know that you can practice your declarer play on BBO - just log on to BBO, select 'Practice' and then 'Bridge Master' - there are 5 levels, each with several dozen hands and even the answers if you cannot solve the problem - and it's free.

Main points of the meeting were:-

The Club is planning further Training/Promotion events later in the year including some mini-bridge sessions in September to coincide with EBU's Big Bridge Week. We want to structure the development of new players so that they can take part in normal club duplicate sessions as soon as possible and are considering how we can build on the recent seminars held for existing members, who are looking to improve.

The Saturday Morning Online Bridge session has ceased due to dwindling numbers, but has been replaced by a similar session on Friday Evenings at 7.15 for 7.30. We hope this will be supported by Club Members.

Diary Dates:-

14 July 2024 - Annual Club BBQ - Details and Invitations will be circulated shortly.

The next Committee Meeting will be the held on Thursday 19th September 2024.

Medway Towns Bridge Club

The Medway Towns Bridge Club is affiliated to the EBU.

We welcome members from

Rainham, Gillingham, Chatham, Rochester, Strood and the surrounding areas.

Venues for Face to Face Bridge

We play Face to Face at the following Venues:-

Monday Evenings - St.Luke's Methodist Church Hall, at the junction of St Williams Way and City Way, Rochester ME1 2BQ

Play starts promptly at 7:30 pm. Please arrive by 7.15.

Thursday Mornings - All Saints Parish Hall, Church Green (at the junction with Murray Road), Frindsbury, ME2 4HE. Play starts promptly at 10.00 am. Please arrive by 9.45.

Club Competitions 2024 Results

Congratulations to Barbara Fisher/Paul Goulette who won the Pendleton Trophy at All Saints on Thursday 6 June 2024. Vess Stefanova/Michael Samwell and Irene Jeffrey/Bob Norrish who won the Grace Sellars Trophy (Seeded Teams) competition at St Luke's on Monday 20 May 2024. Also to Berny Downey/Sue Owen and Irene Jeffrey/Bob Norrish who won the Alison Bethune Bowl (Seeded Teams) competition at St Luke's on Monday 18 March 2024.
