A warm welcome to the Malvern Bridge Club website.

We are a friendly and competitive club and visitors of all standards are most welcome. We play duplicate bridge every Thursday at 7.00pm, with the aim of finishing by 10.00pm, and we look forward to seeing you shortly. Table money is £3 for members, £4 for visitors.

Our venue is  at Victoria Park Bowls Club. WR14 2JY, any changes to this will be posted here.

The Bowls Club is not available on the 1st & 8th of May as well as the 10th & 17th of July. 

On the 1st & 8th of May we will be playing at the Manor Park Sports Club in the Vaughan Hall. The Club is on Albert Road North and has the postcode WR14 2TL. There is plenty of parking on the access road and the Vaughan Hall is downstairs in the main clubhouse. It has a café/bar which will be open until 10.00pm.

On the 10th & 17th of July we will be playing at the United Reform Church in Malvern Link.

Notice of AGM

The Malvern Bridge Club AGM will take place on Thursday 1 May at 6:45. Bridge will follow and there will be no table money that evening.

Please consider and submit to Geoffrey (Chairman, gmherbert@hotmail.co.uk) and Ken (Secretary, ken@kencarpenter.co.uk) any:
proposals for new Officers (Chairman, Treasurer, Secretary) and Committee Members; motions for decision at the AGM; or
matters that you wish to raise for discussion.

The present Officers can and are prepared to continue, but competition and fresh blood would be welcomed.

The Committee met on 20 March and agreed to postpone the AGM from the date previously published, mainly to allow proper consideration of the accounts for 24/25 FY. 

It also considered the state of the club's finances. It noted that the current bank balance appeared healthy but is decreasing year on year and corrective action will be required in a year or two.  In the meantime, the Committee agreed to propose that the normal table money be charged at our two annual social events.
