| Cornwall County Teams of 4 Green Pointed Event |
The next event in the county bridge programme is the premier teams event of the year. It is being played on the RealBridge platform on Sunday 16 March starting at 1.00pm, finishing about 6.00pm-ish. Minimum 36 boards. If a pair would like to play, but cannot find partners, let Chris Bickerdike know, and he will try to help in finding someone in a similar position.

| Obituary - Sandy Cowan |
It is with great sadness that we have to tell you that our friend and fellow Club member Sandy, passed away peacefully on the 29th of January at Derriford Hospital. His daughter Gemma will be holding a memorial service for him 12.45 on the 8th of March at Kelly Church.
In Gemma's email she says, "Bridge was such a significant part of his life, and I know how much he cherished the companionship and the regular bridge evenings that kept him engaged and happy in his later years. It meant so much to him to be able to play right up until the end, even making it to Torquay just a short time before his passing. He always kept me updated on his scores and how the games went, it was truly a passion that brought him joy. Thank you for being a part of his life and for the friendship you shared with him."
UPDATE Gemma is planning a gathering after the memorial service from 2 pm at Lifton Strawberry fields for afternoon cream tea. (which is upstairs with no lift) Please can you reply to Brian Lupton by clicking the email link here.

| Fire alarm facilities at the Public Hall |
Whilst you are at the LBC please exit through the double doors of the Pheonix Room, turn left, (do not use the lift) then at the top of the stairs, turn left through the double doors into The Main Hall.
On the opposite side there are Fire Escape doors, once through these doors, turn right, which takes out to the side road.

Liskeard Bridge Club was founded in 1981
and joined the EBU in 1991.
The club runs two Duplicate sessions of bridge a week and one Rubber session.
