Arnold's funeral is at Markeaton Crematorium on Monday 26th January 2026, at 3:30pm.
Followed by wake at The Great Northern, Station Road, Mickleover, Derby, DE3 9FB .
Family flowers only, donations if desired to The Alzheimer's Society.
We are sorry to hear of the death of Arnold Chandler on 31st December, and offer our heartfelt condolences to Sandra and all his family.
Arnold was a former Secretary and Chairman of the DCBA, former Treasurer and Chairman of East Midlands Bridge Academy. and member of Derby and Allestree Bridge Clubs.

THE BRIGDEN CUP 2025
(Green Point Event & Pachabo Cup qualifier. Note DCBA rules state this prize can only be awarded to a team of players that have registered their primary county of allegiance to Derbyshire with the EBU).
This year the event has no set Wednesdays in the DCBA Calendar all will be 28 board head to head matches played F2F @ mutually agreed venue, although Spondon is the preferred venue. The winner will receive the Brigden trophy and offered entry to Pachabo as a team prize; this can be passed to runner up if winners decline the Pachabo entry prize
