Virtual Bridge Games |
Colonial Bridge Club will continue hosting virtual bridge games on BBO on Fridays at 12:15. If you have never played on BBO before, you will need to get a BBO username (moniker). The game will show up 2 hours before game time. You will be able to register at that time. You will need to get a partner in advance. You will play 18 boards. The card fee is $5. We have "pooled" our players, so if you played in Dianne's games or Tom's game or at the PBC, you can still participate in any of the games under the "Colonial" label. If you have any questions, you can email me at childebrand1@me.com. We will also have a game Wednesday at 1:15 and Wednesday at 6:45. "See you at the games!"

Introduction |
Greetings to one and all from Williamsburg, the restored 18th century Colonial Capital of Virginia and training ground for many of our greatest founding fathers including George Washington, Patrick Henry, Thomas Jefferson, George Mason and so many others. One nation, under God, then, now and forever.
History is perhaps our greatest forte, but we also play lots of bridge here and boast many formidable players. The Colonial Duplicate Bridge Club meets every Friday at 12 Noon at the Swim & Tennis Club in Ford's Colony. This club is centrally located at 165 St. Andrews Drive in a lovely gated community in James City County, near Williamsburg. Complimentary coffee and snacks are available. Our club owner and director is Cathy Hildebrand, childebrand1@me.com, 757-345-3793. Cathy is a certified ACBL instructor and Ruby Life Master.
If you find yourselves in our famous town, you and your partner are cordially invited to join us in this open, ACBL sanctioned game.

Guidelines on Arrival Time |
The games start at noon. Management has asked we do not arrive until 11:30, since others may be using the space before us. They also need time to set up. Thank you for your consideration so we can continue to use this space. If we do not follow the Ford's Colony guidelines, we may be asked to leave. Also, please wait patiently at the gate. They must stop each car as it comes in. This is a privilege, so we must follow the rules. Thanks!
