Charity Week 2026
Charity Week 2026

I am so pleased to announce that our charity week raised a total of £586.28

This is an amazing amount of money which will be sent to Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice.

The club also very kindly received some bridge equipment from the Welcome Bridge club in Woking. This club has sadly had to close. This equipment includes a dealing machine and boards which will be very useful to have as spares.

As the Welcome Club did not want payment for this equipment, the committee have decided to raise the donation to £8oo. Thank you to everyone who contributed and to the Welcome Club for their generous donation.

Gentle Duplicate Sessions

We are running Gentle Duplicate sessions, 2pm on Tuesday afternoons.
These are EBU sessions with NGS and Master Points awarded, and, as such, no advice can be given during the hands. Discussion is encouraged after play. The idea is to improve our game, sharing ideas and talking through what happened.
These sessions will be for approximately 18 boards and as a rough guide, are best suited to players with NGS 9 or below.

We are aiming to have a host for each session, so you will be very welcome even without a partner.
