We are a very friendly and welcoming duplicate bridge club. We meet at the Town Hall, 1st floor, every Tuesday evening for a prompt 7pm start finishing approximately 10.00pm
Annual Membership is £10 per year from 1st September.
Table money is £4 per person, £5 per visitor.
We are affiliated to the EBU and issue master points.

| HAND EVALUATION SEMINAR with ABBEY SMITH |
Members will be interested to know that our vey own Abbey Smith will be holding a couple of seminars at her bridge club and has set two dates for a seminar on Hand Evaluation. It is suitable for all level of bridge club players. The seminars will be from 10am to 12.30pm on Saturday 28th March and also 10-12.30pm on Wednesday 8th April. Abbey has run a couple of these seminars in the Midlands and they were very popular.

The seminar in £25 for non members and includes tea/coffee biscuits, full notes on the subject and copy and commentary of hands that will be played during the morning. This particular subject went down very well at the West Midlands Bridge Club, a quote from their website " A second hugely successful Masterclass from Abbey Smith. 12 tables were entertained and enlightened on Hand Evaluation, brilliantly taught by this warm and friendly England International" The seminar will be held at Drayton Parslow Sports and Social Club. Players will be able to stay at the venue after the seminar to ask questions and bring some lunch, the bar will be open.

| BriAn Scoring |
BBC uses the BriAn bridge scoring app.
If possible please download the "free Brian" app onto your smartphone before coming to the club. The BriAn app works on iPhones and Androids.
BriAn works in a similar way to both "ArcScorer" and "Bridgemates", so if you are familiar with these devices you will soon get used to BriAn.
