Pivot/Handicap Cup.

The Pivot/Handicap cup is a knockout competition.  Team members are allocated a handicap at the start of the season, normally based on their current standing in the EBU National Grading Scheme (NGS).  Normally, matches of 24 boards are played, with each team member partnering each of the other three members of the team for 8 of the 24 boards. However, 18 or 21 boards may be played by agreement. Matches may be played either on-line or face-to-face.
